There are two main reasons.

One is how they use the excess weight created by making the upper and sole so thin that no other company can imitate it.

Ryoma managed to secure 72g of excess weight through the materials and manufacturing process, achieving the ideal weight distribution!
The 12g weight is closer to the face to increase run, and the 60g weight at the rear improves direction.

This weight of 72g is an enviable figure for developers from other companies.

Secondly, the face has been crafted to be incredibly hard.

An oval face shape is narrow vertically, so it is prone to bending horizontally.
We discovered that this is what causes side spin.
By increasing the vertical deflection, decreasing the horizontal deflection, and making it harder, the deflection becomes closer to a perfect circle.

These two major differences in manufacturing process give the new Ryoma Maxima unrivaled directionality!
Due to the manufacturing method, the cost is higher than other companies' products, but if it had more features than that, many people would buy it.
