New hit feel Miura's first precision cold forging manufacturing method & S35C

As a result of our pursuit of a uniquely thick feel in wedges with a hardness different from that of pure iron, the TW-01 was created using the first soft iron S35C + cold precision forging process.

By making the toe side higher and the heel part deeper, it has a shape that makes it easy to open and hold.
In addition to the regular face design, we also have a full score line type.

Super thick feel made with soft iron S35C + cold forging
The back face design is set to maximize the wall thickness at the point of impact.
We used S35C, a soft iron with high hardness, for the first time as a single forging material, and also tried cold precision forging for the first time.

Hard iron is shaped by pushing it into a mold with as little heat as possible. It has a firmer feel that is different from pure iron, and has achieved a unique hitting feel that has never been seen before.

With a view to customers using models such as the PI-401 and EI-801, which have a good playing feel , we have adopted S35C soft iron for the first time, which has high hardness and can maintain high groove performance due to engraving for a long time.

High toe shape for easy technique
The height on the toe side is set to 63.5mm (R01:60mm).
The heel part that connects from the rounded leading edge has an exquisite concave shape that gives the impression of enveloping the ball.
Even when held square, it is easy to get a line, and even when opened, the presence of the toe side in the direction of the head exit provides a sense of security.

Two scorelines to choose from
In addition to the orthodox regular type scoring line, we also offer Miura's first full score line type (FS) . High spin performance can be selected from two options.
