The origin of the EPON putter

EPON i-33

The i-33, the origin of the EPON putter, has long been in the lineup as a standard blade putter made using soft iron forging, a very rare method of making putters. The first model was released in 2009, and this 2021 model is the fourth generation.

Furthermore, this is the first time since the original model that it has been forged and machined in our own factory in Japan, marking the beginning of a new JAPAN FORGED PUTTER.

To make the most of the soft feel of the forged soft iron, a master craftsman created a body shape that inherited the strengths of previous models while paying close attention to 0.1 mm units. To reproduce this beautifully and precisely without any deviation, the forging is done by experienced Japanese metalworkers and machining is done on an ultra-high precision 5-axis machine.

Enjoy the refined form and address view that these designs produce, as well as the comfortable feel and sound of the club when struck.
