2017 model Romaro Ray Type R Iron

The Type R series' flight distance is now available for irons.
It will not disappoint golfers with its flight, controllability, and feel, setting it apart from titanium-faced irons that are simply easy to use.

Neutral head shape that allows you to concentrate without discomfort
This iron has a neat appearance and inherits the Romaro athlete design that is popular among competitive golfers, and is designed to achieve great distance.
It is slightly larger than a conventional iron, and its shape allows you to set up naturally in relation to the target.
The top blade is also thick and does not give way to impacts, resulting in stable head behavior.
The sole is also wide, making it easy to pick up the ball and release it easily.

Undercut cavity made with a composite manufacturing method using different materials
Like the woods, the face is made of 15-3-3-3 titanium, which is strong and has high resilience.
It is thin and light, with a thickness of 2.3 mm (#5), and the excess weight is placed in the sole.
By using an undercut structure that becomes thicker as it approaches the sole and concentrating tungsten, which has a high specific gravity, inside the sole, we have achieved a thoroughly low center of gravity and a wide sweet area.
The high initial velocity of the ball due to the titanium and the ease of lift due to the low center of gravity create a long flight.
Achieves stable ball trajectory that is resistant to variations in impact point.

Variable hardening face for a satisfying feel
A titanium face that is slightly smaller than the cavity frame is pressed into place using a special method.
Within the constraints of a mid-size club, the face area has been enlarged, expanding the sweet spot.
By increasing the thickness of the underside of the face, which is the optimal impact area, we have achieved a solid feel that can withstand strong impacts and has not been available with previous titanium-faced irons.

Easy to pick up and release for stable head movement
The sole is a unique ballet sole that is slightly wide and rounded.
It has good ball flight even in deep rough or thin grass, so even those who have trouble with irons will enjoy the fun of aiming for the pin.
