"The FIRST" - "non-flexible" for maximum follow speed

[3D X Technology]

●The moment the head hits the ball, the head speed slows down, preventing the phenomenon known as "losing the impact," and pursuing greater distances than ever before. The Ballista focuses not only on the time of impact, but also on the "attenuation of follow-through speed" after impact.

●The crown, sole, and face edge do not bend. The head uses five braces, which were not possible with conventional casting. This creates a robust head structure that does not deform or give way to the force of impact.

●This allows the power of the impact to be transferred to the face without any loss, creating a powerful impact. We have created a 3D seamless head with excellent energy efficiency that does not slow down head speed even during the follow-through.

4 braces [Honeycomb X Crown & Sole/Inner X Bridge]

The "Honeycomb X Crown & Sole" combines braces and a honeycomb design on the crown and sole. The "Inner X Bridge" is also placed on the inside of the crown and sole. The four braces on the front and back of the head create an unprecedentedly strong body.

5th brace [3DX frame]

The "3DX Frame" firmly connects the crown and sole. It reduces the energy loss caused by bending up and down at impact and converts it into a force that moves in the direction of motion. By increasing the rigidity of the outer periphery of the face and the body to the maximum, we have maximized the repulsive force of the face and the initial velocity of the ball.

3D seamless head

●Existing drivers require very heavy metal welding to join each part, and even carbon, although lighter than metal welding, has weight due to adhesives. Even for Romaro, these weights were a design barrier when developing new technology.

●The Ballista was created using 3D printing, which does not require welding or gluing. By generating a large amount of excess weight, it achieves the optimal center of gravity while achieving a high MOI. The head thickness can also be controlled in detail by adjusting the peripheral weight distribution, resulting in high forgiveness that does not lose on impact. There is no difficulty in swinging, which is typical of high MOI heads, and the stable behavior always contributes to increasing head speed, further increasing the initial velocity of the ball.

A varistor that overcomes the high barriers of heavy design

In casting, the weight of welding is generated to join the face and the body. In recent years, it has become clear that face-side technology leads to increased flight distance, but casting results in a shallow center of gravity, making it difficult to add innovative technology. However, the 3D printed seamless head solves this problem. The weight of welding the face and body, which was essential in casting, is eliminated, and the "3D X frame" can be expressed.

The repulsive force is as high as the rules allow, and it creates an aggressive impact.
