PXG 0311 GEN5 Fairway Wood

The PXG 0311 GEN5 fairways combine the best technology and precision manufacturing ever made with PXG to create low-spin clubs that players of all skill levels will love.

The result of groundbreaking engineering, this club delivers ideal launch angle, spin and ball speed for incredible distance and straightness from the tee to the fairway.

Head shape
A new head shape has been adopted to enable ideal distance and ease of use.
34% improvement in moment of inertia compared to 0341 X GEN4.

Square Face: A new square face design has been adopted. The surface area of the face has been expanded, and the edge design has been extended more vertically. This has significantly improved the head's moment of inertia and ease of use.
The new head shape also lowers the center of gravity, allowing the ball to be launched higher and with the right amount of spin.

- Sole design : A new flatter sole design has been adopted, which keeps the weight low and moves the weight closer to the edge of the head, improving the moment of inertia and forgiveness.

-High-performance steel material used for the head
AM355 Steel Body High performance head design using high strength AM355 steel material. Provides optimal launch and spin for hitting the ball with a high trajectory.
HT1770 Face Thin, high strength steel face. This allows for high ball velocity.

GEN5 WOOD TECHNOLOGY

High Speed Square Face

The 0311 GEN5 fairway features a tall, deep HT1770 stainless steel face for increased deflection, resulting in faster ball speeds.

The optimized square face design extends the perimeter design vertically at the edge of the head, expanding the face surface area, which significantly improves forgiveness.

ROBOTIC POLISHING Robotic polishing is a precision process that ensures face thickness and curvature (bulge radius and roll radius) are engineered to maximize performance with corrective spin for ideal ball launch even on off-center shots.

Full AV carbon fiber crown
AV (Aluminum Vapor Deposition) Technology Increases stiffness and reduces energy loss in the carbon fibre The use of carbon fibre reduces the weight in the crown of the club, distributing the mass lower and towards the edge of the head Optimal centre of gravity and moment of inertia Increased forgiveness

Precision Weighting Technology Adjust the weight to optimize performance and adjust the overall head weight. You can choose to distribute the weight across multiple port locations or place a heavier weight in one location for maximum effect.

Weights available: 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20g

Weights are placed at the very edge of the head. Adjustable weights are placed at the extreme perimeter (extremely on the head). • Significantly increased moment of inertia and forgiveness • Support weight structure • Improved feel and sound

Adjustable Hosel: Uses an adjustable hosel like all PXG woods. +/- 1.5° loft adjustment. Uses PXG settings for flat lie.

PXG GEN5 Fairway Wood Comparison

Double kick shaft

Double kick pointIt's a wonderful world where there is neither tip bending nor hand bending.

It is generally said that break to the right have good tip flex and hookers have good grip flex.
In fact, after fitting many people, we found that this does not adequately solve the problem for people who break to the right.

The term "tip flexibility" refers to a state in which the tip is soft and the grip is hard. This is a manufacturing method that makes the middle grip harder in order to make the tip faster.
If your grip is stiff, it will be difficult to tighten your right armpit when changing direction in your swing.

When the shaft feels stiff when moving from the top of the swing to the downswing, tension is generated in an instant, making it difficult to close your right armpit.
In other words, this encourages an outside-in swing, resulting in an even larger cut shot.
Not only is the trajectory not improving, but there are more heel hits and the ball trajectory is low and doesn't fly well even when it is hit.

Double kick shaftThat is, the grip is soft, the right armpit is tight on the downswing, the trajectory is stable, and the tip is also sufficiently flexible.
It's a great kick point that combines the best of both hand flex and tip flex.

The reason why there are so few shafts with such an excellent kick point on the market is due to a lack of awareness on the part of manufacturers and the difficulty of the manufacturing process.
From a manufacturing perspective, it is not easy to create a large pause and then have the head move quickly from there.

This was made possible byThe latest work from Crime of Angel,Roxy Angelis.
Available in four hardness levels: 4, 5, 6, and 7 , and with nice weights of 52g, 57g, 62g, and 77g !

The performance of the Roxy makes it such a special shaft that those who break to the right will wonder if there has ever been a shaft that is this easy to swing!
Think again about the movement of a person's arm. You can see that there is a kick point at the elbow and wrist to throw the ball far and accurately!
The movement of the arm is very similar to that of a human arm.Roxy AngelThat's it.

AlsoRoxy AngelAnother attractive feature is that it flies well at 45 to 45.5 inches even without having to go long.
Not only is it easier for golfers who break to the right, but it also improves their form and makes the ball trajectory closer to a straighter one.
The best shaft todayWe can say that!
