PXG 0311P GEN5 Irons

Recommended for those who are looking for the ideal balance of distance and ease of use.

Combining the industry's most cutting-edge technology and born from a relentless pursuit of performance, the PXG 0311 P GEN5 irons deliver outstanding impact.

Designed for stress-free play, these beautiful irons feature a newly patented core material and an innovative head design with just the right amount of offset. They're like a wolf in sheep's clothing.

PXG's flagship has undergone a major evolution with the GEN5 irons.
There is no doubt that this iron will become the benchmark against which other irons will be compared in the future.

GEN5 Iron Technology

Robotic precision technology
GEN5 irons are manufactured using a robotic precision grinding and laser welding process.
Robotic polishing is an extremely precise manufacturing process that allows for consistent sole and face perimeter geometry across every club.
Robotic laser welding not only reduces the area affected by heat, but also enables high-strength and precise welds.

XCOR2 Technology The result of multi-year research and development, XCOR2 is a core polymer material developed specifically for PXG irons.
By using the ultra-lightweight XCOR2, the weight of the core is reduced. This allows the center of gravity to be placed lower and closer to the back of the head. This significantly improves the moment of inertia and forgiveness.
Combined with PXG's ultra-thin face technology, it delivers higher COR performance, amplifying deflection and resulting in faster ball speeds.

Power Channel Technology The Power Channel is PXG's proprietary U-shaped groove engraved into the inside of the face.
This increases deflection and upper bending.
This results in face movement that makes it easier to transfer energy, improving launch angle, ball trajectory, and initial ball velocity.

High-precision weighting technology
The GEN5 irons feature five tungsten weights in the heel-toe area and one larger weight at the rear of the clubhead near the center of gravity.
By using larger weights, customers can experience a range of swing weights during fitting.
This center weight can be adjusted in 2 gram increments to suit your desired performance. Weight adjustments are not available after purchase.

5-TIME FORGED Each iron is forged five times from 862 soft carbon steel to strengthen the grain structure.
It increases head strength, extends the life of the score lines, and improves feel and aesthetics.

Milled back face The milling process applied to the back face of each iron is a high-precision process that allows for a reduction in wall thickness that cannot be achieved by forging alone.
This allows for a high performance body design and improved looks.

Ultra-thin face
Since its inception, PXG has continued to create the thinnest faces in the industry.
The industry's first ultra-thin face technology delivers unparalleled sound and reduces mis-hits.
In addition, by combining it with XCOR technology, it achieves amazing forgiveness and the highest COR performance in PXG history. Made of high-strength HT1770 maraging steel, it has the industry's thinnest face at just 1.55mm thick.
