High initial velocity, mid-spin design that is resistant to mis-shots. It is extremely easy to address squarely and the head returns naturally. |
The PXG 0311 XF GEN6 driver is built using PXG's best technology and highest quality materials, engineered as a mid-spin option for ultra-forgiveness off the tee.
The larger head design supports confidence at address and is perfect for golfers looking for great distance, controlled ball variance and great feel and sound.
Head shape
Large head design makes it easy to square the face and provides exceptional forgiveness
-Face shape : Large face design that maximizes performance no matter where you hit the ball
- Crown structure with reduced side curve and design that maximizes length from front to back - 460cc
·Extraordinary ease ·Amazing distance ·Medium spin design ·High moment of inertia ·Ideal trajectory ·Reduced dispersion of ball landing points ·High ball speed ·Excellent feel and sound |
GEN6 Performance Technology
|
High Speed Face HIGH SPEED FACE The face is constructed from a high-strength Ti412 titanium alloy that features extremely high yield strength and a low modulus of elasticity, allowing the face to flex and spring more easily, generating faster ball speeds.
Aerodynamic head shape The 0311 XF driver has a large, well-balanced head that is designed to make it easier to square the face at impact for the ideal combination of outstanding distance and incredible forgiveness.
Through rigorous modal analysis testing, we developed an innovative, analytically-backed weighting structure that delivers incredible sound and
feel . High-precision weight technology is positioned as close to the clubhead's perimeter as possible and secured to the outer wall of the head, creating a precise, strong and stable structure that generates high-frequency vibrations.
High-strength carbon fibre crown The crown of the 0311XF GEN6 driver is constructed from high-grade carbon fiber. The lightweight material reduces mass in the crown and redistributes it under the clubhead and around the perimeter for an ideal center of gravity that's easier to launch.
Hosel Adjustment Function Equipped with a simple, lightweight hosel that can be adjusted intuitively, it allows fine adjustment of the loft angle and lie angle. The position with the white dot is the standard setting. A small "+" increases the loft angle by 1 degree, and a large "+" increases the loft angle by 1.5 degrees. Conversely, a small "-" decreases (strengthens) the loft angle by 1 degree, and a large "-" decreases (strengthens) the loft angle by 1.5 degrees. The PXG logo is printed directly opposite the white dot. This position is the flattest lie angle (-3 degrees) and is the standard loft angle setting.
High-precision weighting system The PXG 0311XF GEN6 driver's sole features one light (2.5g) and two heavier (7.5g) replaceable weights to allow for tuning of the desired spin and bias. Weights are available in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5 and 20 gram options and can also be used to adjust the overall head weight.

If you don't hit it, it won't fly! Speaking of the shaft movement that is most frightening, reverse bending is the problem. If you design it to prevent reverse bending, you will maintain the normal forward bending until the moment of impact. The DI series is a shaft that perfectly embodies this idea!
The DI series does not go to the left even when you hit it. Few people, whether they have a fast or slow head speed, hit it at impact. The DI5 R1 would be perfect for veteran golfers who can no longer use the S club and have switched to the R club, but who are having trouble with hooking the ball and losing stability.
DI usually targets long hitters who can hit the ball nearly 250 to 300 yards. The specs that will please those who have difficulty controlling the clubs are the DI6 S, X and DI7 S, which are perfect for those who use DG irons. Especially for those who can swing over 320g with a #1 club, the DI 7 and 8 series use a highly elastic material made using nanotechnology at the tip, which reduces head vibration at impact and gives the same sticky feel as the DG.
However, if you throw the ball extremely inside-out to the right, you will not be able to grip the ball and will end up pushing it. Basically, it is not a shaft that will give you good grip, so it cannot be used unless you lower the flex by two levels and use a head that will give you good grip.
So it's safe to say that the DJ series was created for young, energetic amateurs who have a push to the right. It is best suited to a slightly out-in trajectory, but for those who want to hit hard from above, the DI is very easy to swing, allowing you to hit the ball right to the center and make a bold swing.
Also, advanced power players who can hit irons and fairways well and whose drivers tend to go left or right will surely like this DI series w/#1.
When inserting it into a FW, whether the w/#1 is a DI6 S or a DI7 S, the DI7 S will be sufficient. As I wrote earlier, the DI7, 8 series has a lot of tenacity in the tip, so it doesn't move around. As a result, it can be used as is without cutting, and there is no need to make it too heavy or stiff like other shafts.
