High Speed Square Face The PXG 0311 GEN6 hybrid face is constructed from high-strength steel and is designed to generate high ball speeds. The square face design increases the surface area of the face by keeping it flat all the way to the edge, significantly improving forgiveness.
Carbon Fiber Crown The crown of the PXG 0311 GEN6 Hybrid is constructed from premium carbon fiber, a lightweight material that reduces mass in the crown and redistributes it underneath the clubhead and to the perimeter for optimal center of gravity and high moment of inertia.
Through rigorous modal analysis testing, we developed an innovative, analytically-backed weight structure that delivers amazing sound and
feel . High-precision weight technology is placed right on the perimeter of the club head and fixed to the outer wall of the head, creating a precise, strong and stable structure that produces high-frequency vibrations. By studying vibrations through modal analysis, we found the shape that produces the ideal feel and sound.
Head Design The club head body is made of high-strength AM355 steel and features a square face design and flat sole shape. By placing the mass low and close to the perimeter, it is easier to hit. The innovative head shape lowers the center of gravity, resulting in high launch and ideal spin.
Hosel Adjustment Function Equipped with a simple, lightweight hosel that can be adjusted intuitively, it allows fine adjustment of the loft angle and lie angle. The position with the white dot is the standard setting. Small + increases the loft angle by 1 degree, and large + increases the loft angle by 1.5 degrees. Conversely, small - decreases (strengthens) the loft angle by 1 degree, and large - decreases (strengthens) the loft angle by 1.5 degrees. The PXG logo is printed directly opposite the white dot. When set to this position, the lie angle is the flattest (3 degrees smaller) and the loft angle is the standard setting.
High-precision weighting system The PXG 0311 GEN6 Hybrid's sole features one lighter (2.5g) and two heavier (10g) weights that can be swapped out to match the spin and bias desired. Weights are available in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5 and 20 gram options and can also be used to adjust the overall head weight.
