Teardrop-shaped, compact head shape and deep face make it strong on both upper and lower impact points. |
Delivering exceptional distance, controlled ball drop and exceptional forgiveness, the PXG 0311 GEN6 driver is designed to be accessible to players of all levels.
This driver head features a traditional teardrop shape and curved crown, providing an explosive sound and great feel at impact.
Featuring the industry's most versatile adjustable weighting system, the PXG 0311 GEN6 driver is designed with a mid-spin option to deliver optimal performance with a combination of ball speed, distance and forgiveness.
Head shape
Traditional teardrop shape designed to provide the ideal balance of distance and ease of use
- Face shape: The face is high, which provides excellent performance even on hits that are off the sweet spot, especially when the impact is on the top of the face.
- High face with high curved crown and short front to back length - 460cc
·High moment of inertia ·Surprising ease of use ·Maximized distance ·Medium spin design ·Super fast ball speed ·Reduced ball landing point dispersion ·Excellent sound and feel |
GEN6 Performance Technology
|
High Speed Face The face is constructed from a high-strength Ti412 titanium alloy that features extremely high yield strength and a low modulus of elasticity, allowing the face to flex and spring more easily, resulting in faster ball speeds.
Aerodynamic head shape The 0311 GEN6 driver features a traditional teardrop shape, a pronounced curved crown structure, and a shorter body shape from front to back. This maximizes distance and provides amazing forgiveness. The high, deep face design provides solid support for off-center shots, making it less likely to be mishit, especially on shots hit with the upper part of the face.
Through rigorous modal analysis testing, we developed an innovative, analytically-backed weighting structure that delivers incredible sound and
feel . High-precision weight technology is positioned as close to the clubhead's perimeter as possible and secured to the outer wall of the head, creating a precise, strong and stable structure that generates high-frequency vibrations.
High-strength carbon fibre crown The crown of the 0311 GEN6 driver is constructed from high-grade carbon fiber. This lightweight material reduces mass in the crown and redistributes it underneath the clubhead and around the perimeter for an ideal center of gravity that's easier to launch.
Hosel Adjustment Function Equipped with a simple, lightweight hosel that can be adjusted intuitively, it allows fine adjustment of the loft angle and lie angle. The position with the white dot is the standard setting. A small "+" increases the loft angle by 1 degree, and a large "+" increases the loft angle by 1.5 degrees. Conversely, a small "-" decreases (strengthens) the loft angle by 1 degree, and a large "-" decreases (strengthens) the loft angle by 1.5 degrees. The PXG logo is printed directly opposite the white dot. This position is the flattest lie angle (-3 degrees) and is the standard loft angle setting.
High-precision weighting system The PXG 0311 GEN6 driver's sole features one light (2.5g) and two heavier (7.5g) interchangeable weights to allow for tuning of the desired spin and bias. Weights are available in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5 and 20 gram options and can also be used to adjust the overall head weight.

The dream shaft that flies and doesn't bend has been born.
- The gentle W kick makes it easy to turn and return cleanly!
-Excellent ease of swinging with a high level of both distance and direction!
・The most flying weight range is around 53g
-No toe down even with long length.
|
It was born from the challenge of achieving both distance and direction, something that was previously thought to be impossible.
|
A long, light, flying shaft that has been around for a long time. However, the direction is not the best.
In order to surpass the legendary shaft, Longest Yard, which previously achieved both distance and direction, In 2019, Angel's Vice President, Fukushi, approached Daiichi Golf for advice.
Communication between the engineers and Daiichi Golf testers began. Based on the original Angel, which had a reputation for being easy to swing and not bending, we repeated prototyping and testing four times. We have finally completed a prototype that flies, can be hit, and doesn't bend!
This time, the rolling was a gentler double kick than Roxy's, widening the target. The moderate softness in the hands creates tension, generates energy, and then the ball returns cleanly, so it doesn't curve like in California! This is the rolling behavior that allows the ball to fly without bending.
The long shaft creates a pause, which generates great energy when returned well. To achieve that long length, it is necessary to eliminate vertical flex (toe down) during the swing. With a heavy head attached, you can roll without toeing down and make a nice turn! We encourage you to try rolling 0.5 to 1 inch longer than usual.
