High Speed Square Face The PXG 0311 Black Ops Hybrid face is constructed from high-strength steel and is designed to generate high ball speeds. The square face design increases the surface area of the face by keeping it flat all the way to the edge, greatly improving forgiveness.
High-strength carbon fibre crown The crown of the PXG 0311 Black Ops Hybrid is constructed from premium carbon fiber, a lightweight material that reduces mass in the crown and redistributes it underneath the clubhead and around the perimeter for optimal center of gravity and a high moment of inertia.
Research-Backed Weighting Structure Through rigorous modal analysis testing, PXG has developed an innovative, research-backed weighting structure that delivers amazing sound and feel. Precision weighting technology is positioned as close to the perimeter of the club head as possible, with weight ports fixed to the exterior wall of the head. This positioning creates a rigid, stable structure and advanced internal geometry that generates high-frequency vibrations. PXG used modal analysis to study vibration and found the ideal frequency range that produces the most optimal feel and sound.
