Club design: Slightly larger for improved spin, distance control and overall stability.
Model characteristics Polymer material filling the internal cavity |
Ultimate Shot Making The small, maneuverable club head design gives players greater control over the club face.
High spin performance The unique S-COR material increases stability and suppresses face movement at impact, resulting in increased spin.
Excellent Distance Control The ultra-thin face and hollow body structure provide experienced players with extremely stable distance control.
Exceptional sound and feel Triple forged 8620 soft carbon steel
Technology that unlocks performance

Tungsten weight on the toe side An internal 15-gram tungsten weight places the center of gravity in the center of the club face, increasing the moment of inertia and improving performance on off-center shots.
S-COR polymer-filled stability core material enhances spin performance and improves stability and distance control.
The hollow body has a large weight placed near the center of gravity at the rear of the ultra-thin face club head. This large center weight provides the optimal swing weight. What makes PXG different from other manufacturers is that these weights are adjusted during the in-person fitting, so you can experience the effect. Weight adjustments after purchase are not supported.
High-precision milling of the face and back face By applying extremely precise milling (cutting) to the surface of the face and back face, it is possible to achieve a high-precision finish that cannot be achieved by forging alone. This processing creates a high-performance body that meets strict specifications for all straight lines, curves, and angles, while also achieving a refined appearance. In addition, the face can be made as flat as possible, and the thickness of the club head can be controlled with high precision.
Triple forged feel Each iron is forged three times from 8620 soft carbon steel, a process that creates a tighter grain structure for increased strength, longer groove life and improved overall feel and appearance.
ROBOTIC PRECISION Robotic polishing is a highly accurate manufacturing process that is key to maintaining a consistent sole and face circumference for every club.
Instantly captivating, PXG Extreme Dark Irons are manufactured with an advanced technology called Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. DLC significantly extends the life of the finish. Unlike the black PVD typically used by other golf manufacturers, DLC is a three-layer
process that creates exceptional wear resistance without affecting the club's performance.
