Recommended for: Advanced players who want control and operability.
The highest quality PXG blade ever made, the very definition of a blade. Produced using cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, the PXG 0317 ST blade is a blade that is as refined in appearance as it is stylish.
It offers the control even the most experienced golfer will be satisfied with with every shot.
Featuring minimal offset, a set design that is gradually optimized for each club with the tour in mind, and PXG's unique high-precision weight technology, these irons offer ultimate shot shaping, high spin performance, and distance control.
The club head has been triple forged, and the face and back face have been CNC milled with high precision, resulting in the 0317 ST Blade, which features precise detail and an exhilarating feel and sound when hitting the ball.
Named after the US Marine Corps' 0317th Scout Sniper, the ST Blade allows for long-range precision shooting at any target.
Available in chrome and extreme dark finishes.
Milled face and back face By applying extremely precise milling (cutting) to the surface of the G face and back face, we were able to achieve a high-precision finish that could not be achieved by forging alone. This process produced a high-performance body that cleared strict specifications for all straight lines, curves, and angles, while also achieving a refined appearance.
Precision Weight TechnologyThis blade has a large weight located near the center of gravity at the back of the club head. This large center weight allows for optimal swing weight. Fine-tune using Precision Weight Technology during an in-person fitting with a PXG Fitting Specialist. Weight adjustments are not available after purchase.
Triple Forged Each iron is forged three times from 8620 soft carbon steel, a process that creates a tighter grain structure for increased strength, longer groove life and improved overall feel and appearance.
Extreme Dark FinishThe instantly captivating PXG Extreme Dark Irons are manufactured with an advanced technology called Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. DLC is a graphite-like carbon-based coating that significantly extends the life of PXG Black Label irons and wedges. Unlike typical black PVD coatings from other manufacturers, DLC is made up of three layers: a base layer of chrome, a mid-layer of carbon-chrome, and a top layer of approximately 0.003mm of high carbon. This provides incredible wear resistance and flawless looks. Of course, it does not affect the performance of the club, including the ball flight.
Robotic High Precision Technology The 0317 ST blades are produced through a high-precision robotic polishing process, a highly precise manufacturing process that is key to ensuring consistent sole and face perimeter geometry across every club.
