The slightly smaller head size and thick face thickness provide a hitting feel that surpasses that of soft iron forging. |
The loft angle and FP value are optimized based on a vast amount of fitting data. |
The versatile sole is compatible with a wide range of head angles, ensuring the ultimate feeling of release. |
The hollow iron head was born, without any compromise, and in pursuit of the ultimate performance as a Miura iron.
1. The slightly smaller head size and thick face create a hitting feel that surpasses that of soft iron forging.
|
The faces of #3 to #9 are made of chrome molybdenum steel, which has good resilience. By deliberately designing the face thick, we have achieved not only great distance performance, but also a solid and comfortable hitting feel that sets us apart from conventional hollow irons.
In addition, S35C is used for the face of the Pw and Gw, in pursuit of even better hitting feel and directional performance.
The head size is small enough to be easily handled by intermediate to advanced players, and the shape also takes ball control into consideration.
2. The loft angle and FP value are optimized based on a vast amount of fitting data.
|
Based on the vast amount of test shot data obtained from Miura's unique fitting "9 Position Fitting" (patented), which focuses on the relationship between FP value and impact loft, the FP value is set to achieve the optimal trajectory for each club's loft. By achieving the optimal impact loft, it is possible to transfer swing energy to the ball without loss.
3. The versatile sole is compatible with a wide range of head angles, ensuring a breathtaking, flawless feel.
|
The Versatile Sole was born from repeated testing of the wedge sole shape, starting from a bounce angle of 0°, in pursuit of the optimum balance between bounce angle and sole width.
After many years of development, the idea evolved into the new Miura Versatile Sole (MVS) for irons.
It can accommodate swings with a wide range of angles of attack, and the sole shape is suitable for any lie, allowing it to firmly grip the ball, while the step at the rear of the sole does not slow down the head after impact, allowing for the ultimate feeling of release.
*The head cannot be sold alone.
*There may be some variation in weight.
Product Concept
We developed "MCI BLACK" with the desire to allow golfers to experience the joy of hitting long irons and to use the entire iron set from top to bottom. Until now, the weight of conventional iron shafts, including steel shafts, was the same regardless of the club number. As a result, the long irons tended to be too heavy and difficult to grip, while the short irons tended to be too light and cause mistakes. To eliminate this mistake, the MCI BLACK shaft has a weight flow, and we have succeeded in creating a flow in weight, balance, and vibration frequency for each club. By aligning the swing feel of all clubs from drivers to wedges, we have made it possible to set up clubs that allow you to enjoy golf without any discomfort.
Features of "MCI BLACK"
1. Unified swing feel for all clubs, from drivers to wedges We have succeeded in making the shaft weight flow, which is generally recommended, flow completely from the driver to the wedge. With conventional iron shafts, the weight was fixed, so the weight flow throughout the entire club was not possible. By using "MCI BLACK", it is possible to create a weight flow even within the iron set, achieving the same swing feel from the driver to the wedge. It is easier to bite into the center, resulting in an ideal launch.
2. Long irons are easy to swing and gentle What is noteworthy is the improved ease of swinging long irons. With conventional shafts, the large weight difference between woods and UTs was one of the reasons why they were difficult to hit. By properly balancing the weight difference from UT to irons, it is easy to grip even with long irons, and a comfortable swing makes for high maneuverability.
3. Short irons are easy to feel the weight of, preventing them from catching too much The short irons, which tend to be too light and tend to be smashed with the hand, are now designed to feel heavy. Even when swinging with all your might, there is no need to worry about them catching too much, allowing for stable impact and maneuverability. |
