Miura IC-602 Hollow Iron

The slightly smaller head size and thick face thickness provide a hitting feel that surpasses that of soft iron forging.

The loft angle and FP value are optimized based on a vast amount of fitting data.

The versatile sole is compatible with a wide range of head angles, ensuring the ultimate feeling of release.

CONCEPT

The hollow iron head was born, without any compromise, and in pursuit of the ultimate performance as a Miura iron.

1. The slightly smaller head size and thick face create a hitting feel that surpasses that of soft iron forging.

The faces of #3 to #9 are made of chrome molybdenum steel, which has good resilience. By deliberately designing the face thick, we have achieved not only great distance performance, but also a solid and comfortable hitting feel that sets us apart from conventional hollow irons.
In addition, S35C is used for the face of the Pw and Gw, in pursuit of even better hitting feel and directional performance.
The head size is small enough to be easily handled by intermediate to advanced players, and the shape also takes ball control into consideration.

2. The loft angle and FP value are optimized based on a vast amount of fitting data.

Based on the vast amount of test shot data obtained from Miura's unique fitting "9 Position Fitting" (patented), which focuses on the relationship between FP value and impact loft, the FP value is set to achieve the optimal trajectory for each club's loft. By achieving the optimal impact loft, it is possible to transfer swing energy to the ball without loss.

3. The versatile sole is compatible with a wide range of head angles, ensuring a breathtaking, flawless feel.

The Versatile Sole was born from repeated testing of the wedge sole shape, starting from a bounce angle of 0°, in pursuit of the optimum balance between bounce angle and sole width.
After many years of development, the idea evolved into the new Miura Versatile Sole (MVS) for irons.
It can accommodate swings with a wide range of angles of attack, and the sole shape is suitable for any lie, allowing it to firmly grip the ball, while the step at the rear of the sole does not slow down the head after impact, allowing for the ultimate feeling of release.

You will be successful if you buy irons based on the shaft!

Since most people purchase irons based only on the head, even major manufacturers use shafts that are so inexpensive that steel and carbon are the same price.
Carbon, which can fight on the ground and turf, keep the face square, and is easy to swing and sharp, cannot be priced the same as steel.

Climb of Angel, which has received rave reviews for its drivers, fairway woods, and utilities, has finally announced its iron shafts!
The president of Daiichi Golf himself used the test club on the course many times and attached it to various heads to find the answer.
"I passed the Highway Angel exam! The highest class double M!"
Junichi Irie, CEO of Daiichi Golf

1. Hitting the nail on the head

The most important point to consider when rating a club is whether it is easy to swing.
The definition of an advanced player can be said to be "someone who can repeat the same swing."
After addressing the ball, use a forward press and take back. The most difficult part is deciding the top and then turning back from there, but it all depends on the quality of the shaft and whether it suits you or not! If the turning back is successful, the swing is almost successful.
Over the past 30 years, golf clubs have become longer and golfers have slowed down their backswing. If the club does not hit the ball at that tempo, it cannot be said that the iron shaft matches the current irons.
Highway Angel makes this turn extremely easy!

2. Fly!

As a president, I have been in this business for 40 years and am always excited to see the evolution of shafts.
While distance can come from the bounce of the head face and a steep loft, it is also important that the shaft flexes optimally and returns comfortably.
Highway Angel flexes just the right amount and returns to its original shape comfortably!
The movement of this very important shaft is truly amazing. If it bends too much, you will hit a duff shot, and if it doesn't bend enough, you will strain the ball and hit the heel to the top. The return of the bent shaft is absolutely great!
I think this return route is the reason for the flight.

3. It doesn't bend

The most troublesome thing with irons is probably duffing the ball or hooking it left from the rough, right?
Of course, if you are someone who hits the ball right in the center and has a big break to the left, you will want to set the club one club higher than the stiffness of the sample club.
In other words, you would put an 8-iron shaft on a 7-iron.
Of course, the length is the same as a 7. The stiffest shaft will flex a little less, eliminating duffing and reducing back-flex at impact. The opposite is true for those who break to the right.
Go down one club and then make it softer, i.e. put a 6 shaft into the 7 shaft to finish it off.
The Highway Angel already has very few bends, but if you customize it like this, it's perfect!

4.Not too light

The standard settings are 56g for FO, 69g for F1, and 77g for F2.
FO is what is generally called R, F1 is SR, and F2 is S.
What if we offered a 50g shaft for Seniors or Grand Seniors?
The mats are popular at driving ranges because they are slippery, but on the course they don't clear the ball well and don't improve scores at all.
The lightness of the shaft is a negative factor when it comes to getting through the rough.
Even if you have a slow head speed, I would like you to use at least 56g! The weight setting for this stiffness is exquisite. The same goes for F1 and F2! It is important that it is not too light.

5.Fun and rounded shaft design

The actual shaft is really cool.
I've played the course many times myself, and not a day goes by that I don't think this design is great.
The handle is just a handle, but in fact several grams of paint are added to create this handle, and I would like to think that this paint weight also brings out the performance of the Highway Angel shaft.
The stickiness of a shaft can only be appreciated by swinging it, but is it too much praise to think that the high performance of the Highway Angel shaft would not have been achieved without this pleasing design paint?
We encourage you to take a round and experience the true essence of Fukushi's charismatic designs.
