Nitrogen gas filled DUAL STRUCTURE head |
DUAL STRUCTURE By creating an internal wall at the rear of the dual-structure face, the crown and sole are connected, creating a Nitrogen-loaded box. This box significantly increases the horizontal and vertical rigidity of the front of the head, thereby increasing the head's resistance to twisting on off-center hits. This keeps the face square to the swing trajectory, resulting in the same forgiveness as a high MOI head, where the ball's spin axis is less likely to tilt.
In addition, the increased rigidity of the front of the head due to the internal wall structure firmly receives the mass of the ball like a rigid trampoline frame, providing optimal deflection to the face, while the internal wall located close to the face creates high repulsion performance that instantly transfers impact energy to the ball. The DUAL STRUCTURE achieves both high ball speed and forgiveness, which are usually in a trade-off relationship.
Nitrogen gas-loaded head Nitrogen gas-loaded head By loading Nitrogen gas-loaded inside the head, the pressure inside the head is increased, and even if the bendable beta-type titanium, DAT55G, is thinned, unnecessary bending is suppressed, and the CT value is kept within the appropriate range at a high level, and durability is improved. The repulsion of Nitrogen minimizes the deceleration of the head after impact, minimizing the increase in ball speed on center hits and the decrease in ball speed on off-center hits, resulting in a head that can withstand the mass of the ball. (Proven 24% improvement in head deceleration)
Traditional head shape that is visually easy to set upThe peaks of the radii of the face bulge, the top line of the crown, and the back sole line are aligned in a straight line in the direction of the ball flight. The traditional head shape, which takes into consideration the symmetry of the face, body, and toe-heel, makes it visually easy to set up and pull straight, creating a positive cycle for your swing.
The BOX structure gives this shallow, low center of gravity, low MOI head the same forgiveness as a high MOI head, giving it a traditional look that high MOI heads don't have, and the head is highly maneuverable and easy to swing. The ease of swinging and rigidity make it less likely to bend, leading to even greater head speed.

The dream shaft that flies and doesn't bend has been born.
- The gentle W kick makes it easy to turn and return cleanly!
-Excellent ease of swinging with a high level of both distance and direction!
・The most flying weight range is around 53g
-No toe down even with long length.
|
It was born from the challenge of achieving both distance and direction, something that was previously thought to be impossible.
|
A long, light, flying shaft that has been around for a long time. However, the direction is not the best.
In order to surpass the legendary shaft, Longest Yard, which previously achieved both distance and direction, In 2019, Angel's Vice President, Fukushi, approached Daiichi Golf for advice.
Communication between the engineers and Daiichi Golf testers began. Based on the original Angel, which had a reputation for being easy to swing and not bending, we repeated prototyping and testing four times. We have finally completed a prototype that flies, can be hit, and doesn't bend!
This time, the rolling was a gentler double kick than Roxy's, widening the target. The moderate softness in the hands creates tension, generates energy, and then the ball returns cleanly, so it doesn't curve like in California! This is the rolling behavior that allows the ball to fly without bending.
The long shaft creates a pause, which generates great energy when returned well. To achieve that long length, it is necessary to eliminate vertical flex (toe down) during the swing. With a heavy head attached, you can roll without toeing down and make a nice turn! We encourage you to try rolling 0.5 to 1 inch longer than usual.
