It flies gently and doesn't bend! It holds firmly

Too little or too much backspin is no good.
We took on this difficult challenge and created a perfectly balanced new driver!

The adjustable sleeves make it suitable for everyone from average players to seniors and ladies.
Not only can it provide a high trajectory that is easy to grip, but it can also be flexibly adapted to the strong trajectory preferred by athletes!

Despite its shallow face , it has an ultra-wide spot design that is resistant to deviations in the impact point up, down, left, or right.
The latest design optimizes the thickness of the back of the face, so even if you miss a shot, it still flies straight and is easy to use!

Can we really create a flying and easy-to-use DR?

What is a flying DR head?
1. The coefficient of restitution is at the limit of the rules
2. Keep the backspin at around 2000 rpm, which is a draw type.
There can be no argument against this!

The reason why it is said that a long-distance DR is difficult is because it is difficult to hit a stable 2000-rpm draw ball (number 2).
If the ball has a low spin rate and is below 1,500 rpm, it will definitely lose direction on the course.
The commonly used term "one shot" is used when there is low spin and happens to be little side spin, and it often ends up being just a one shot.

I learned that high spin is not only a negative thing, but can also be a very positive thing in terms of direction.
In reality, even professionals will expect a fluctuation of ±200 RPM out of 2000 RPM, while average amateurs should expect a fluctuation of ±500 RPM.
Therefore, we thought that creating a DR that can be hit stably at a minimum of 1700 RPM and an average of 2200 RPM would bring us closer to "flying far and easy to use!"
Of course, it should be included in condition "3" of the wide spot design that satisfies "1" and makes it easy to hit the draw-type 2200 rotation "2".

The 460 Brave 2 incorporates "1," "2," and "3" as much as possible into its design, and is set up to allow tuning to suit your swing.
Our 65th anniversary model is ready to be sold! Now all that's left is for you to try it out in store!

Rolling Angel

The dream shaft that flies and doesn't bend has been born.

- The gentle W kick makes it easy to turn and return cleanly!

-Excellent ease of swinging with a high level of both distance and direction!

・The most flying weight range is around 53g

-No toe down even with long length.

It was born from the challenge of achieving both distance and direction, something that was previously thought to be impossible.
A long, light, flying shaft that has been around for a long time.
However, the direction is not the best.

In order to surpass the legendary shaft, Longest Yard, which previously achieved both distance and direction,
In 2019, Angel's Vice President, Fukushi, approached Daiichi Golf for advice.

Communication between the engineers and Daiichi Golf testers began.
Based on the original Angel, which had a reputation for being easy to swing and not bending, we repeated prototyping and testing four times.
We have finally completed a prototype that flies, can be hit, and doesn't bend!

This time, the rolling was a gentler double kick than Roxy's, widening the target.
The moderate softness in the hands creates tension, generates energy, and then the ball returns cleanly, so it doesn't curve like in California!
This is the rolling behavior that allows the ball to fly without bending.

The long shaft creates a pause, which generates great energy when returned well.
To achieve that long length, it is necessary to eliminate vertical flex (toe down) during the swing.
With a heavy head attached, you can roll without toeing down and make a nice turn!
We encourage you to try rolling 0.5 to 1 inch longer than usual.
