The back face has a simple half cavity structure. In keeping with the tendency of elite players to hit the ball in the center of the bottom of the face, the lower back face has a triangular thick section with the center at the apex, and from there the thickness changes in stages, from a slightly thicker section to a completely cavity section. It is also noteworthy that the steps created by the change in thickness are shaped like the letter X.
