Callaway JAWS FORGED Wedges

The fusion of raw groove and soft iron forging
Delivering superior feel and performance

The long-awaited soft iron forged "JAWS FORGED Wedge" has been released in the popular JAWS series. The leading edge of this JAWS FORGED wedge is slightly rounded, the heel is higher, and the overall shape is reminiscent of the 2007 X FORGED wedge, which was popular on the tour. In addition, the face of the unplated finish that became synonymous with the JAWS RAW series is equipped with 37V grooves (loft 56-60 degrees) and micro features for the first time in a soft iron forged wedge (loft 56-60 degrees). In addition to a comfortable hitting feel, it also has better spin performance than before. In addition, tungsten technology (loft 54-60 degrees) and Z grind (loft 56-60 degrees), which first appeared in the JAWS RAW wedge, are also introduced, pursuing high perfection in every aspect. The loft lineup is available in eight types from 46 degrees to 60 degrees in 2 degree increments, and two head finishes are available: chrome plating and charcoal black.

Features &
Benefits

A form born from tour feedback The biggest difference between the new JAWS FORGED wedge and its predecessor is its shape. The leading edge has been changed from a straight one to a slightly rounded one that makes it easier to pick up the ball. In addition, the heel side is now higher, giving it a more bosom feel, and the shaft, hosel and face are treated to create a sense of unity. The overall shape is reminiscent of the 2007 X FORGED wedge, which was popular on the tour. Another noteworthy point is that the club balance has been lightened by reducing the head weight, improving maneuverability.

Microfeatures are also installed between the grooves for the first time. The JAWS FORGED wedge is the first soft iron forged wedge to be equipped with microfeatures. These form small convex parts between the grooves and are arranged diagonally to the grooves. The sharp corners of the 37V grooves and the non-plated face finish that accentuates the grooves create strong spin, especially on approaches where the face is open. The microfeatures and 37V grooves are used in the 54-60 degree loft models, while the 46-52 degree models have 20V grooves.

Tungsten technology for lob shots exactly how you want it The 54-60 degree loft models feature tungsten technology, which was first used in JAWS RAW wedges. The 54 and 56 degree loft models have tungsten in the first weight port on the toe side of the back face, while the 58 and 60 degree loft models have tungsten in the two weight ports on the toe side. This allows the center of gravity to be located in the center of the face in the toe-heel direction, reducing head wobble, especially when hitting shots with the face open. This allows you to hit lob shots just how you want them.

Z Grind adopted following JAWS RAW wedge The Z Grind, also first used in JAWS RAW wedges, has been introduced to the 56-60 degree loft model. The wide sole has a C grind applied to it, with slight chamfering on both the trailing edge and the leading edge. This sole inherits the C grind's ability to adapt to various lies, while also being gentle, not easily digging into the grass, and easily sliding through the grass.

There are two types of finishes, both with non-plated faces. The loft lineup of the "JAWS FORGED Wedge" is 8 types in total, ranging from 46 degrees to 60 degrees, in 2 degree increments. The 46 to 52 degree lofts use a C grind. The head finish is available in two types, chrome plating and charcoal black, and as mentioned above, the face surface of both is non-plated.

As the world's lightest, it offers a new dimension of flight and maneuverability.
Feel, direction, distance. For all golfers who are committed to steel shafts.

After more than two years of development, unique new materials and new technologies have produced the long-awaited lightest steel in the world.
ZELOS 7 uses a completely new high-strength material, "NZNS60," which exceeds the patented material used in conventional NSPRO steel shafts. It brings a new hitting feel with the resilience and bounce that is unique to high carbon types.
At the same time, it has increased strength while maintaining flexibility, overturning the notion that "lightweight steel is not strong." This is a new genre of steel shaft that brings together the results of more than two years of continuous efforts to create an ultra-lightweight shaft.

Compared to the 750GH, the flex in the grip and middle is greater. The gradual stiffness distribution allows for a smoother swing.
ZELOS 7 achieves unprecedented lightness and swing comfort compared to the NSPRO 750GH, which is characterized by the stability of a steel shaft. In other words, even though it is a tip-heavy shaft, it flexes smoothly from the tip to the grip, and the gradual stiffness distribution allows you to feel sufficient flex. In addition to being the lightest in the world, it also allows for an easier and smoother swing than ever before.
