Romaro Ballista 508 IRON Romaro Barista 508 Iron |
The Ballista 508 was born from the idea that "the swing trajectory can be the same for both woods and irons." It has a cool look and is revolutionarily easy to use. It has a design and structure that clearly defines the performance and role required for each club. It is a new iron shape that is effective for modern shallow swings, rather than the down blow that is used to hit the ball from above.
High MOI hollow head made entirely of soft iron that maintains the hit rate even when the center is removed |
Unlike conventional hollow irons that use multiple materials in the right places, this iron has a hollow body and face structure made of a single soft iron material, which achieves metal wood-like initial velocity and a low center of gravity. It is not just a hollow structure, but also supports the thin face, expanding the high initial velocity range while improving the feel. The unique "3D weight distribution design" realizes the largest MOI head in the history of Romaro. It does not lose even at a gentle angle of incidence, and the high initial velocity performance adds further buoyancy, creating a high trajectory that can be stopped on the green. 3D weight distribution design: A perfect weight distribution design with ideal weights in all directions of the head, including the toe heel (left and right), top blade sole (up and down), and back side (depth). The weight gap created by the thick wall at the back of the head and the thin face achieves a low center of gravity and high MOI.
Impact hold and high initial velocity performance Innovative soft iron uneven face |
The back side of the face impact point is thickened, and the toe-heel direction is made uneven to make it even thinner. By moving the thickest part closer to the face's center of gravity, the ball is held in place better at impact, further improving stability. It also has excellent response to the impact point, so the initial speed of the ball does not decrease even if it is off-center, and excess side spin is suppressed, resulting in a stable trajectory.
240° concave frame with hard-soft-hard body rigidity for improved vertical distance accuracy and increased distance |
A grooved frame that changes the thickness of the frame from the toe to the top blade and heel to create a spring effect. In a time when the ball is becoming increasingly low-spin, this prevents excessively low spin and contributes to proper launch and spin. Even with a high impact point where the loft is flat, the grooved face creates a stable trajectory that is easy to grip.
Wide sole x low bounce design |
The combination of a wide sole and low bounce allows the head to slide and automatically provides excellent release. The head does not sink into the ground, increasing the propulsion force toward the ball.
Fitting weight that suppresses toe down and adjusts ball grip |
Not only can you adjust the head weight and balance, but you can also customize the subtle grip of each club with the fitting weight. 5g of tungsten is attached to the standard head.
