Comment from Manager Nakagawa of Minoh store:
It's a steel shaft in the 70g range, and it's as close to a carbon shaft as you can get! It's very soft so it's generally easy to swing, but it's quite squishy... It also runs smoothly through the impact zone! It has a great tip action, as you would expect. Normally, when something is this soft, it has less bounce and can easily become droney, but it really bounces like carbon and gives you a crisp feeling. You might think that it would be better to use carbon instead, but this has the advantage that it suppresses the reverse bending that is unique to carbon, making it less likely to go left. Carbon may fly well, but for those who are worried that it flies too far or breaks apart, this is recommended especially for senior and female athlete golfers. It seems like it picks up the ball quickly, so it's easy to get the ball up. |
